The Akwesasne Child Care Program (ACCP) provides licensed child care for children ages 3months to 6 years.  ACCP is under the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education and is licensed by the Ministry of Education.

An emergent, play-based approach to curriculum is the basis for our program's planning and delivery of activities. Our approach allows children to use play to explore their environment, understand and regulate their emotions, and develop social skills. Our child-centred pedagogy falls in line with How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years Framework.

The curriculum is emergent in line with child-centred pedagogy.

It is a fee-for-service program,

• $100/week for infants (3m-18m) & toddlers (18m-30m), and

• $80 per week for preschool (30m-6yrs). 

Fees are flat rate with snack and lunch included, subsidies available as well. 

 

After-school and Summer programs are also available when school is not in session at $25 per week or $12 full day.
